“I Will Uphold you with My Righteous Right Hand”

“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed,
for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

Isaiah 41:10

Those words from Isaiah are the words we begin our new school year with and which serve as the theme of our new school year. They were chosen by Lauren King when she designed the school year logo which you can see at the top of this page.

These are surely comforting words to all of us, but especially to those doing something challenging, such as beginning a new year of school, trying to make ends meet in a struggling economy, or attempting to get the shovel in the ground for a much needed building project.

Let us keep these words in mind throughout our new school year, and always. Take comfort in the fact that we do not ever have to be afraid, frustrated, or feel overwhelmed with anything in our lives. God promises to strengthen us, and He WILL help us.

So whether it be a smooth transition to a new grade, a new job when it seemed like nothing was out there, or a new school building, we can be sure that God WILL help us in the way which He knows is best!
